Day 3: A'ha!

Day 3 was easier than I thought...
Cold Shower- brrrrrrrr
Morning: Yogurt with mixed nuts and seeds, coffee
Lunch (shhh I kinda forget to eat lunch) very bad I KNOW!
Dinner: Spinach salad, piece of salmon, grilled vegetables, some three sisters soup (till I realized there was corn in it)
Half glass red wine
Still on ice cold water...  Did not drink as much as I prolly should have.
20 minutes yoga stretches last night.
Went for a 15 minute walk.

With all the busyness at work, I didn't come up against any struggles.
HAd a really good chat with Mitch. We talked about retraining the brain regarding food and health. I can get so hung up on what I am giving up and or what I am missing.  This is a part of my process though. I tend to look at things at what I am going to avoid and what I am going to give up.  Mitch gave a huge aha moment when he said "Look at this with curiosity. Instead of looking at what you are giving up or gaining, just say What is going to happen when I do this... "  Huh.. What an interesting concept! It makes sense... This is about seeing what is going to happen to me when I try these things. Not just to my body, but all aspects of the medicine wheel.
Sooooo I am learning slowly I might add... That this adventure is more than food. It's everything.  The people who do not support me I cannot be around and the people who do support me I need quality time with. The areas and places that compromise my thinking are out for now.. It's like an addiction people! I know in time I will be able to do anything and everything and not compromise this process. but for now, I know there are some places that I need to stay away from.
