Okay so today was my travelling day, and I managed to avoid the usual fast food by the road stops. I got hungry during the travelling to the hometown with my wonderful mother. When I mentioned I was hungry, she immediately said to me that we can stop at a grocery store instead of those buildings full of different fast food joints. Soooo Thankful for my supportive mother
Not to mention when we arrived, she had an amazing amount of protein that she went out and bought for when I got here. I am so thankful that he and the rest of my family have been supportive. Given that it is Easter Weekend, I was a little nervous as I know that there is usually a lot of starch and grains as a part of our family dinners. When talking to my aunt and letting her know that I was coming, she surprised me by asking me what I cannot eat and what I can, so that she can make sure I will eat enough. It was so nice to have that support, because it can be very difficult socially to be eating and living so differently.
