Breakfast Yogurt with mixed nuts/raspberries
Lunch- yogurt, with mixed nuts, fresh cantaloupe, pineapple
Dinner- chicken wings, salad
Snackers- dried coconut
Hmmm, I know I know you see chicken wings and see problem. They are my cheat! Went to Toronto for an awesome social at Council Fire. Doing some health and wellness assessments and meeting some amazing people with amazing stories. I cannot wait for this research to be out in the world. Only thing was at the social, there is of course food for everyone, I could not eat any of it(except the delicious fruit). So we went on a hunt for meat lol… Chicken Wings was the best thing so I took and they were quite tasty.
It’s hard to go out to public places like this where you are expected to eat and yet, I can’t. Grains and Dairy are a part of everything in food these days and sometimes it can be overwhelming for me to see it in plain sight. Re training the brain of an individual is only half the battle. We gotta get this to the community!! I am all for baby steps, because there are many people who cannot go drastic the way I did, but either way something has to give. There has to be a way to stop this….. Oh wait there is… US!!! We are the ones who can show that it can be done and can be done in stages. Samantha is one friend I am so happy for, cause she is doing the baby steps. As hard as it is, she stopped eating bread. Well that’s an accomplishment, especially for someone who admits to eating lots of grains…. Stopping one thing is still on the way to being healthy…. J
