Today has been the craziest day! On such a life high right now. First start of the day of course is Mitch taking me on another hike!!! O sweet heaven, the pain. We hiked down the Niagara Glen which is another area I have never been before and it is absolutely amazing! Metal stairs that made me feel I was falling off a cliff, walking over trees, through rocks (yes I said through) and physically climbing down. Definitely a rough experience, but going up was even worse. The legs are going to be wicked sore that’s for sure. As much as I whine and moan about the difficulty, I realize that I survived it. This is something I did not think I would ever be able to do and I’m doing it. It goes back to all of this new life I am leading. I didn’t think I would ever be able to stop eating my pasta. Well 24 days have gone by and I’m still living on and loving my food more and more each day. The time and effort that goes into cooking makes me eat slowly and enjoy the taste and spices that go into the food. Lunch as you can see what a sampling of some amazing food prepared by an excellent chef Joseph... Delicious and all diet friendly The mushroom burgers I cannot wait to make!!
Second big moment, my interview for energy exchange. I met the most vibrant, energetic woman since my two close girls Marie and Amanda. The director of The Moksha Yoga Studio interviewed me for the program that I applied to. Energy Exchange is where you donate time every week to your studio and in exchange you receive yoga studio class time. Umm What?!? Yeh That’s the first thing I thought of when I heard about it. Of course I am going to sign up! So I go in Mahtay Café to meet Tracey, and she is amazing. Her energy is so awesome and we had so much to talk about. I love her ideas and her passion for yoga and it makes me more determined on my path to wellness. I cannot wait for the studio to open and to be a part of such a great team with similar passions for yoga! Go Yoga!!! hehehe
