Day 40 (April 28): Indigenous what

Breakfast: Eggs
Lunch: steak tips, raspberries, trail mix
Dinner: salad, bison burger (no bun), steak piece, broccoli

Today is a great day to be Indigenous! It also has reminded me that there will always be people who fear what they do not understand. Attended a wonderfully organized march for peace, friendship and respect. The march was based in Caledonia and for those of you reading this that do not know the history, goggle has all kinds of information. I expected to run into some people who did not support, but I never expected people to actually speak to what they do not know.  One women actually questioned where we are from and to 'go home'. What they do not understand or do not want to understand is that we are home. There is some serious history within Canada Indigenous and this march reminded me of that and food is a rather large part of this history. Colonization was what our people to wheat, dairy and other high carb non human foods.  Aboriginal people were lean, mean and huge! Now look at us?  We have gone internal and began killing ourselves and smiling while doing it. Mmmmm this hamburger full of toxins taste delicious, I think I'll have another.....  We really have to get this food thing together and the answer in not hard.... It's simple.. Eat what we used to eat and expose ourselves to nature and hiking and lacrosse... That's what we used to do and that's where we need to get back to. Our ORIGINAL instructions.
