Mmmmm Yoga!!! Yoga in the office is always informative for me. When I do yoga at home, it's great.. Peaceful and mellow and I have my own little ritual space to help me relax. Although I do not have this at the office, I adore doing yoga with my co workers. It's great to have some affirmation that I am progressing in my yoga practice, because there are times when I don't know how I am doing and if I have gotten better. By doing yoga with co workers today that I have progressed. Mitch noticed that my breathing wasn't as labored and that I was more graceful coming out of boat pose. That for me is a huge step and makes me feel that yoga is eventually going to get easier for me. Like everything else, this is a process. I am really into the book Primal Body Primal Mind. With my therapist/psychology background I am incredibly interested in how the paleo lifestyle affects the mind and emotions. That mixed with my ojibway heritage of putting everything in a wheel has me really thinking what we can do with this. There is sooo much information out there for us to learn and yet we sit in the same spoon fed information rut. Time to get out of the rut... By enlightening ourselves to this new lifestyle (that really isn't new) we are taking charge of our life and putting our bodies in control. Body and Mind go hand in hand RIGHT?
